Published in Amwal Al Ghad on 20 - 03 - 2012

Bajaj Auto, India's leading manufacturers of motorcycles and the fourth largest manufacturer of motorcycles in the world, announced that the sales of the "Boxer 150" have recorded highest sales in Egypt since its launch earlier this year in collaboration with GB Auto from selling more than 5000 motorbikes in less than 100 days.
The launch of Bajaj for this new model reflects their desire to increase their presence in the Egyptian market during the next phase, with the introduction of a distinct and highly efficient bike serving the middle and low-income classes and helping them accomplish business and professional purposes and small projects which will improve their living conditions.
Jay Narayanan Director of Ghabbour Auto for motorcycles and three wheelers says: "Boxer 150" was able to achieve astonishing sales since its launch due to its efficiency and outstanding performance, attracting the attention of the Egyptian consumer all over Egypt grasping a good 70% of the sales of Bajaj motorcycles in Egypt." He added: " We have recently received the first governmental sector order for 30 new “Boxer 150" bikes, which reflects a great interest in “Boxer 150" and a wide response from individuals and traders alike to buy and deal with the new model."
Ola Loutfi, Head of Marketing and Communication at GB Auto - Ghabbour Auto, said that her company has added 25 new dealers reaching a total number of 75 dealers in a very short period of time. She added that Ghabbour Auto is targeting to reach 100 sales centers next year, and has opened already 25 service centers and 45 sales points for original Bajaj spare parts, which will provide best in class service & spare parts support to the Bajaj customers.
The “Boxer 150" has a strong body, compared to other vehicles in the market where the bike is designed specifically to deal with off-road and high temperatures without discomfort. It is also characterized by a new engine capacity 150 cc, which is environmentally friendly and fuel-efficient consuming one liter of fuel per 60 kilometers, making it truly a no problem bike. And for those who wish to experience the efficiency of "Boxer 150" and preview the performance of the engine on the ground to take part in a test drive hosted by Bajaj Auto in collaboration with GB Auto starting from March for a period of three months in various cities in Egypt.
Bajaj vehicles are assembled and marketed by Ghabbour Auto, the leading company in the automotive industry in Egypt, having an extensive network of branches and agents in all parts of Egypt.
