Egypt's local gold prices hike on mid-Monday

Egypt's local 24-carat gold prices reached EGP 3,771.5 per gram for selling and EGP 3,714.25 for buying, on Monday at 11:52 pm (CLT), up from EGP 3,662.75 on Sunday before Eid al-Fitr holiday, according to an electronic gold price platform.
Meanwhile, 21-carat gold stood at EGP 3,300.0 per gram for selling and EGP 3250.0 for buying, compared to EGP 3,205.0 per gram for selling and EGP 3,175.0 for buying during the same period.
The 18-carat gold jumped to EGP 2828.5 per gram for selling and EGP 2785.75 for buying, up from EGP 2,747.25 per gram for selling and EGP 2,721.5 for buying before the holiday.
The 14-carat gold selling price has hiked to EGP 2200.0 per gram and EGP 2166.75 for buying, compared to EGP 2,1336.75 per gram and EGP 2,116.75 for buying during the same time.
Notably, gold pound rose to reach at EGP 26,400.0 and EGP for buying 26,000.0, from EGP 25,640.0 for selling and EGP 25,400.0 for buying on Sunday at 12:00 pm.
