EGX heads north on Jan. 30

Egypt's stock market closed in the green on Tuesday. The main index EGX30 rose by 3.83 per cent to 30,347.3 points, while the small to mid-sized enterprises' index, EGX70, climbed by 2.13 per cent to 6,940.6 points, and EGX100 jumped by 2.32 per cent to 9,860.38 points.
The market cap reached 2,121,780,346,118 Egyptian pounds.
The Arabs and Non-Arab Foreigners were net buyers with a total of 2,840,431,997 Egyptian pounds, and 475,159,455 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, Egyptians' transactions were selling with a total of 3,315,591,452 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers on Tuesday
The shares of Iron And Steel for Mines and Quarries (ISMQ.CA) rose by 20.00 per cent, to trade at 4.620 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Development & Engineering Consultants (DAPH.CA) climbed by 19.99 per cent, to close at 55.050 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Electro Cable Egypt (ELEC.CA) soared by 19.89 per cent, to close at 4.400 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Tuesday
The shares Delta For Printing & Packaging (DTPP.CA) declined by 4.95 per cent, to close at 37.990 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Delta Sugar (SUGR.CA) dropped by 4.48 per cent, to close at 93.600 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Egyptian Chemical Industries (Kima) (EGCH.CA) fell by 4.39 per cent, to close at 15.690 Egyptian pounds a share.
