Onera Company To Sign MoU With Assiut University

MEET Company for MENA Communications Engineering has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Assiut university on Tuesday in the presence
of Prof. Mostafa Kamal, Assiut University President, and Brigade Mohamed Abdel Hay, General Manager of Renewable Energy Projects Development in MEET Company MENA Communications Engineering which recently work for restructuring and launching "Onera Systems"specializes in providing solutions for new and renewable energy. The memorandum of Understanding aims to exchange scientific and practical experiences, and the promotion of new and renewable energy sector in Upper Egypt and also to open new horizons for using solar energy to contribute for the development work in Assiut governorate.
Brigade Mohamed Abdelhay, has confirmed about the Onera Systems company's interests for scientific research and development skills of students in Egypt and picturing new features of Egypt energy map, especially in Upper Egypt, describing it of having many possibilities, talents and Competencies that can develop innovative solutions to the energy problems that have become one of the obstacles to Egypt's development .
Moreover, Prof Mostafa Kamal, has explained that the MoU opens new fields for students in order to expand in scientific research and to give them an opportunity to train in a practical form of renewable and new energy , hoping this cooperation to be a beginning for students delegation to innovate new applications.
Eng. Wael El-Nashar, President and CEO at Onera Systems, has indicated that it eyes creating a broad prospect in new and renewable energy fields for the people Assiut governorate , enabling them to develop solutions and applications for many small and medium companies, depending on the solar energy that have become a necessity must rely on them now to provide our needs from energy in the future especially after landmarks crisis which Egypt passes becoming clear in shortage of energy resources.
Furthermore, Information and Communication(ICT) Technology Sector received a considerable attention as it able to finish the supply, design and installation of more than 700 sites for communication towers in Egypt and North Africa.
It is worth mentioning Onera Systems company presented an overall study of the Egyptian government for the solar industry and its challenges recommending for the need to issue Identifying Law of generated energy from renewable energies.
