Souq.com To Sign Contracts With Raya, Philibs In 2013

Souq.Com Egypt, the Largest online retailer in the Arab World for E-Trading, will be signing contracts with Raya Company for Communications (RAYA.CA) and Philips for Electronic within 2013. Omar Sedody, Souq.Com's CEO said the contract is the result of Souq.Com's willingness to offer fresh services for customers with Competitive prices and to increase the number of visitors.
Sedody added that the number of internet users in Egypt reached 30 million, it is expected that it will increase within the next year in order to reach 40 million users so the e-trading will activate in Egypt. The CEO further explained that Souq.Com will open up two branches during the next year in Gulf and North Africa region, pointing that Souq Fashion will launch in Emirates specialized in world fashion and also includes a special section for Arab designers making it easier to market and sell their products and the possibility of replacing within two weeks, which works to stimulate the domestic industry in the field of fashion.
Furthermore, he confirmed that the number of Souq.Com Visitors in Egypt up to EGP 2 million monthly , accounting for 38 of place among more than 50 sites are seen in Egypt with an increase rate ranging between 20-25% in addition that 40% of visitors are conducting purchases on the site.
Souq.com is considered to be a portal allows thousand of buyers and sellers to communicate daily in order to buy and sell various items within the secure infrastructure and sophisticated benefit both parties to complete their trades through methods of payment and shipping with methodology of local user requirements.
