QNB ALAHLI, the Egyptian unit of Qatar National Bank, said on Tuesday year growth its pretax profit for 2021 rose to 10.852 billion Egyptian pounds ($690.6 million) from 10.403 billion in 2020. Standalone net profit reported a 2 percent year-on-year growth at the end of 2021 to 7.452 billion pounds from 7.398 billion pounds at the end of 2020, according to the bank's financial statement. Customers' deposits climbed by 27 percent year-on-year to 295 billion pounds at the end of December 2021. Total assets surged 24 percent year-on-year to 360 billion pounds.
