DAMAC Properties Cleans Up During Awards Season
Published in Amwal Al Ghad on 30 - 10 - 2012

DAMAC Properties has continued its success during the property awards season, collecting five distinguished awards across three events.
The Middle East's leading private luxury developer has been recognised at the Overseas Property Professionals (OPP) Excellence Awards as Developer of the Year for the Middle East.
DAMAC Properties was also rewarded at the International Property Awards with three more titles at the prestigious 2012 event.
DAMAC Properties luxury tower, Al Jawharah in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been recognised for a second year in a row; this time being honoured with the Highly commended award in the Residential High-Rise Development' category and ‘Best Interior Design' category for the partnership with VERSACE HOME.
The company's website, was also highly commended in the category of ‘Developer Website' – the eighth time the portal has won such an award.
In addition, DAMAC Properties' creative work for Burjside Boulevard was selected as the best Marketing Campaign of the year by PropertyFinder.ae.
“DAMAC Properties is taking a leadership position in reinvigorating the Dubai property market and these latest awards are recognition of the hard work our staff has put in over the past year," said Niall McLoughlin, Senior Vice President, DAMAC Properties. “It is always an honour to be recognised by our peers and further affirms DAMAC Properties as an established and trusted developer in the market."
The OPP Excellence Awards in London brought together 300 of the leading figures in the global property market from more than 20 different countries. The Best Developer in the Middle East award for DAMAC Properties was selected by a panel of highly experienced judges from across the world.
DAMAC Properties has continued to develop its luxury projects at pace across the Middle East over the past year and has now completed 37 buildings, with a further 65 under various stages of development.
The International Property Awards are long established and its award winners' logo is recognised as a symbol of excellence throughout the global industry.
Stuart Shield, president of the International Property Awards, said: “The overall standard was extremely high meaning that any company to win one of these awards has shown exceptional levels of professionalism and competence in their respective field."
DAMAC Properties' Al Jawharah is a 47 storey high-end residential tower looking out to the Red Sea from the Jeddah Corniche.
The iconic tower provides three, two and one bedroom apartments with the top ten floors branded ‘DAMAC Residences with VERSACE HOME Interiors' offering resplendent finishes and luxury living at its most refined.
“Al Jawharah has redefined high rise living in Saudi Arabia," added McLoughlin. “We worked very closely with officials in the Kingdom to ensure we delivered an iconic tower in-line with the respect and traditions of the country. The partnership with VERSACE HOME has helped create stunning properties with the iconic Italian design."
Construction at Al Jawharah has already passed the 30th floor and pre-qualified, invited VIP's will be able to experience the luxury when the VERSACE HOME show apartments opens at the end of the month.
DAMAC Properties marketing and IT teams are also celebrating after the www.damacproperties.com website won the award. With regularly updated construction news, payment portals and the opportunity to chat online with a sales advisor, the DAMAC Properties site is now firmly ensconced as the de-facto way to present new and existing projects.
McLoughlin said: “winning an award for our website for the eighth time is testament to the hard work and commitment our teams show by keeping the site fresh and exciting for our clients. The site is an important communication tool, especially for our overseas investors. It gives them a close connection to their property which they can watch grow and develop in front of them."
DAMAC Properties rounded off the awards season with recognition from PropertyFinder.ae with the best marketing campaign award for its work on Burjside Boulevard, in the heart of the Burj Area. The 50-storey tower will be complete by mid-2013 and will be the first project to be operated under the DAMAC Suites & Spa management arm, providing luxury serviced apartments and five-star concierge services.
