Banque Misr, Egypt's second largest bank, signed on Wednesday a cooperation protocol with e-finance to offer advanced financial services to all categories of Egypt's agricultural sector, notably small and medium-sized projects (SMEs) via an e-agriculture platform operated by the firm. The ceremony of signing the protocol was attended by chairman of Banque Misr Mohamed El-Etreby and chief executive officer of e-finance Ibrahim Sarhan. This came as part of with the bank's strategy to achieve digitisation and financial inclusion, besides providing automated financial services to SMEs and Egypt's agricultural sector. Source: MENA
