The lawyer for Saudi royal Allal al-Fassi on Tuesday told prosecutors that his client is unable to testify in investigations relating to the death of his sister, Princess Hind al-Fassi, as he has been "kidnapped" by unknown persons who have taken him against his will to Saudi Arabia. Al-Fassi had filed a complaint with prosecutors in which he accused her husband, Prince Turki, and his three sons of murdering his sister. He also requested that state prosecutors carry out extensive investigations aimed at uncovering the cause of what her mysterious death. Princess Hind al-Fassi, 52, died on Sunday in a hospital outside Cairo, and was laid to rest at a funeral in Cairo on Monday, attended by relatives and the Saudi ambassador to Egypt. According to security sources, prosecutors have not been notified of any recent kidnappings. Describing the lawyer's claims as "laughable," the same sources added that members of the al-Fassi family "often accuse each other of all sorts of things."
