Lawyers Mohamed Abu Shoqqa and his father Bahaa Abu Shoqqa for a second time declined to handle any cases involving former president Hosni Mubarak or any of his family members. They both said they will not be present at Saturday's session at the Cairo Criminal Court to review the Attorney General's decision to freeze the Mubaraks' assets. The Attorney General has received several documents showing that Gamal and Alaa Mubarak, Hosni Mubarak's two sons, used their father's name to obtain plots of land by direct order from former ministers of housing Ahmed al-Maghrabi and Ibrahim Suleiman, according to judicial sources. The same sources added that other important documents show that chief of Mubarak's presidential staff Zakaria Azmi, former parliamentary speaker Fathi Sorour, and former speaker of the Shura Council Safwat al-Saherif, received land in tourist areas for free. Al-Masry Al-Youm has also learned that Azmi received land in Sharm el-Sheikh, Hurghada, New Cairo and 6th October city to build villas and palaces. He also received more than 30 apartments and villas in various new cities. These units were given by direct order from Suleiman to Azmi's family members, relatives, driver and servant. Attorney General Abdel Meguid Mahmoud has imposed new travel bans on officials and businessmen, including some who have already been banned from travel. A judicial source explained that each new case requires a separate ban. Those banned from travel include include Magdi Rasekh, Safwan Thabet, Abdel Monem Saudi, Ahmed Bahgat, Alaa Abul Kheir, Ibrahim Salem, Mostafa Kamel, Ahmed Ezz, Mounir Ghabbour, Ahmed al-Maghrabi, Hamed al-Shati, Adham Nadine, Alaa Abul Eish, all of whom are businessmen. Also banned are Mohamed Ibrahim Suleiman, former housing minister, Ahmed Nazif, former prime minister, Youssef Boutros-Ghali, former finance minister, Habib al-Adli, former interior minister, Zuheir Garana, former tourism minister, his son Mohamed and his brother Mohamed Garana.
