Ahmed Naguib, a green grocer at the Obour market, noted a considerable increase in vegetables prices, especially tomatoes where the bulk price of 20kg packages climbed to LE35 per kilo from LE20 on Friday. The price of eggplants and cucumbers rose to LE3.5 per kilo, up from LE1.5 on Friday.
