Cairo airports received yesterday the corpses of two Egyptian nationals, one from Jordan and the other from Greece. The first Egyptian was killed during a chase with Jordanian police on the border with Syria, after an attempt to enter Syrian territory along with other nine Egyptians. Mohamed Abdel Hakam, assistant foreign minister for consular affairs, said that the embassy in Amman had completed the necessary procedures to transport the body back to Egypt. He added that the embassy was closely following the investigations conducted by the authorities in Jordan, and is pushing for their release. The other Egyptian national, whose body was returned from Greece, was Moussa Akram Ramzi. After finishing quarantine procedures and issuing a burial permit, the corpse was sent from the airport to be delivered to the deceased's family in Assiut.
