The butane gas crisis has been exacerbated in the provinces. A number of citizens were yesterday injured in fights over the gas cylinders that were not enough. El-Sayed Mohamed el-Fattouri from Shawa Village said: “We have not had one cylinder for more than a month, and we have been waiting since 7:00 a.m. to get one today” Ibrahim el-Metwalli from Aga Village said: “The price of a cylinder reached 15 pounds and still we cannot find one.” Tawfiq Abdel Hamid from Selelent Village accused the officials of selling the cylinders on the black market.
