Can you imagine that a top responsible official in the ministry of culture dare to say publicly that the theft of Vincent Van Gogh's "Poppy Flowers" painting from a Cairo museum, was "not a big deal."? Would he have said the same if it was his own painting? What does the Minister expect from the "The Egyptian public when paintings were stolen from Mohamed Ali Palace, the tragedy of fire at Beni Suef theatre, then the twice stolen Vincent Van Gogh's "Poppy Flowers" painting? Shouldn't "The Egyptian public be very emotional?" Are we inhuman or coldblooded? Why did the Minister wait so long when Mr. Mohsen Shaalan was involved in many other transgressions and you could have accused him of a lot more."? Did you have to wait till something more serious to happen in order to blame him? Surely Mr. Shaalan and others in the ministry have also committed wrongdoing. As Egypt has a lot of museums and treasury, then the minister has to be a monitor.
