Cairo - Egypt's Grand Mufti Shawki Allam greeted on Thursday President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on the 4th anniversary of the June 30 Revolution. Giving a word on the occasion, Allam urged all Egyptians to work round the clock to achieve comprehensive development in the country in all fields. He also called on all Egyptians to place the nation's interest above any consideration in order to eradicate terrorism and extremism. The June 30 Revolution demonstrated the great will of the Egyptian people who refused threats posed by terrorist and extremist groups and organizations, Allam said. Mass protests occurred in Egypt on June 30, 2013 as millions of protesters took to the streets, demanding the immediate resignation of former ousted president Mohamed Morsi.
