London - An imam from Muslim Welfare House, close to the scene of Finsbury Park terror attack in North London, was praised after he called on people to stay calm and prevented angry crowd from harming the perpetrator of the attack that left one person dead and 10 injured on Monday. A van rammed into worshippers leaving prayers near Finsbury Park Mosque, north London. The 48-year-old driver of the van was caught by members of public at the scene and then arrested by police. The angry crowd shouted at the perpetrator, who was pinned to the floor, while people's anger continued when police turned up to take the man into custody. However, the imam led people and begged for calm. Imam-led crowd formed a small barrier around an officer who was trying to get the suspect into the back of a police van.
