Cairo - Qatar's regime works to smear the image of Arab governments and to raise division among their people by using its media platforms to defend and to support terrorist organizations. It attempts to create major crises in the Middle East. Qatar's Al Jazeera satellite channel is considered one of the media tools used by the Qatari government to defend terrorism and to promote terrorist ideas. The Qatari channel was of the first supporters, using its abilities to fuel tension in the Arab countries. It provided a media platform for the leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood, along with providing financial and logistic support facilitated by the Qatari government to other governments controlled by the Muslim Brotherhood. However, the Araby Jedid Newspaper has also become an unofficial media platform of the Qatari government to aggressively criticize Arab governments.
