Minsk - Trade and Industry Minister Tarek Kabil met with his Belarus counterpart Vladimir Koltovich. They discussed economic and trade cooperation and the latest developments of the free trade agreement between Egypt and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries. In a statement by the Trade and Industry Ministry, Kabil said the agreement will help facilitate trade among the member states. He further stressed the importance of increasing trade exchange between Cairo and Minsk in the coming period. Belarus investors would take part in exhibits held in Egypt to get acquainted with Egyptian products, he said. Koltovich, on his part, said Egypt is one of the most important partners of Belarus at the political and economic levels. He expressed his country's keenness on expanding trade exchange with Egypt in the coming period.
