Cairo - Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese on Friday described his meeting with Britain's Queen Elizabeth II as good. The queen extended condolences over the victims of Tanta and Alexandria churches terrorist attacks, the Pope told the bishops of the Orthodox Church after wrapping up his pastoral tour and arriving in Cairo. Queen Elizabeth asked about relations between Egyptian and Ethiopian churches, Pope Tawradros added. Meanwhile, the pope said that his meeting with Russian president Vladimir Putin was cordial, adding that Putin expressed respect and appreciation of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and described him as a courageous leader.
