Amman - Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry held a bilateral meeting with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman al-Safadi in Amman on May 14 at the Jordanian Foreign Ministry headquarters. The two sides discussed means to boost bilateral relations and reviewed the latest developments in questions of common interest. The Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Counselor Ahmed Abu Zeid, said that Minister al-Safadi lauded the high level of progress the Egyptian-Jordanian relations have reached. He stressed the solid and sturdy ties between the two countries, that have always premised in deep, historical roots. For his part, Minister Shoukry praised the progress at all levels of the bilateral relations, emphasizing the need to continue enhancing and promoting these relations so as to achieve both countries' interests that correspond to the aspirations of both peoples who share very close ties.
