Cairo - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received, on Saturday, his Congolese counterpart Joseph Kabila upon arrival at the presidential palace in Cairo. Sisi and his Congolese counterpart held talks on means of enhancing joint cooperation in the economic and commercial domains alongside a host of issues of mutual concern, especially cooperation among the Nile Basin countries. Al-Sisi asserted on Egypt's full support to Congo in its developmental projects. He asserted on Egypt's full commitment to the terms of the political agreement. On the other hand, Kabila praised Egyptian-Congolese relations and lauded the Egyptian role in supporting the Democratic Republic of Congo. The two presidents held a press conference at the end of their talks.
