Prime Minister Sherif Ismail left the House of Representatives, after meeting the house speaker, Ali Abdel A'al, to be back at 15:00 to give a statement on the declaration of state of emergency, Al-Bawaba News reported. The speech will discuss the reasons of declaring state of emergency, in order to get the approval of parliament on the declaration. President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi issued a presidential decree that declared a three-month state of emergency across the nation, following two terrorist attacks against two Egyptian churches in Tanta and Alexandria on Palm Sunday. Despite the decree took effect yesterday at 13:00, the parliament should give approval to president's decision to continue the state of emergency within seven days of declaring. Two thirds of the parliament deputies should agree on the decree, in order to be take effect, according to Egyptian constitution.
