Bomb disposal experts defused Sunday a bomb which was found in the vicinity of Seedi Abd El Raheem mosque in the city of Tanta, Gharbia governorate. As soon as security services received information about the bomb, security forces and bomb disposal experts rushed to the scene in order to set up a security cordon around the bomb and defuse it. The security forces and bomb disposal experts searched the surrounding area for any potential threat or evidence that would help the authorities identify the perpetrators of the crime. On the other hand, a bomb exploded Sunday in the vicinity of St. George church in Tanta, leaving 30 people dead and 78 others wounded. The explosion occurred during Palm Sunday celebrations holiday, which the government gives as a holiday for Copts, as most of them go to churches to pray.
