Hundreds of people demonstrated Saturday in New York, protesting against US President Donald Trump's missile attack on Syrian Ash Sha'irat air base. Demonstrators gathered in front of the Trump Tower in Manhattan, while others gathered at Union Square, chanting anti-war slogans, according to NBC News. Angry protesters voiced their disbelief in Trump's administration claims stating, the Syrian regime used chemical weapons against civilians, killing more than 85 people and wounding many others. Meanwhile, Trump praised, on Saturday, the US army for carrying out missile attack, via his official account on twitter, as he wrote: "Congratulations to our great military men and women for representing the United States, and the world, so well in the Syria attack." On the other hand, Russian President Vladimir Putin condemned US attack, describing it as an "act of aggression," stressing, it violated the international law.
