Cairo - Egypt's President 'Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi' met today with a US congress delegation headed by the Republican 'Dana Rohrabacher', the head of the sub-committee on Europe and Asia Affairs, and the founder of "the friends of Egypt" group in the congress in the presence of 'Sameh Shokry', the Minister of Foreign Affairs. 'Al-Sisi' welcomed the "delegation" praising the efforts exerted by 'Dana Rohrabacher' and other members for supporting and strengthening the strategic relations which combines between Egypt and the United States. The members of US delegation affirmed the importance of the Egyptian-United States relations and expressed that they support all the endeavors to develop those relations on the various themes along the coming period particularly after the New US President has taken over the tasks of his position officially. They illustrated that Egypt is considered an important partner to The United States and praised its efforts on the level of combating terrorism and extremism and on the effective serious policy it adopts in this field. They also said that they are looking forward to the expected visit of 'Al-Sisi' to Washington indicating that this visit represents a good chance to negotiate in detail around the ways to promote the relations and to strengthen the frameworks of consultation and coordination between the two sides.
