Cairo – The Egyptian Authorities kept on denying an intention of reconciliation with the "Muslim Brotherhood" group banned in Egypt and a few other countries. The Egyptian Military Intelligence Director disclosed the dismantling of networks providing support to terrorist groups and the seizure of about six million and five hundred thousand US dollars. He announced that the military's sweeping operation "Martyr's Right" resulted in the death of 500 militants since its beginning in September 2015. In a symposium held at one of the Egyptian Army venues, ‘Mohamed Farag Al-Shahat', The Director of the Military Intelligence Department, recently made a presentation about the activities of the army in facing the terrorist elements. He asserted that just after the revolution of June 30, and the overthrow of President ‘Mohamed Morsi', the coordination and cooperation were intensified between the terrorist "Muslim Brotherhood" group and the elements of "Bait Al-Makdes" (The Supporters of Jerusalem) which is the Egyptian terrorist branch of the terrorist"ISIS" (the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria) and so their attitudes were unified toward the same goal which is increasing the ceiling of pressure on the Egyptian government to support the goals of the Muslim Brotherhood for the retrieval of their authority". Over the course of the last two years, the Egyptian armed forces launched counterattacks against militant stationing points across the Sinai Peninsula, where the group is based, particularly in the cities of Sheikh Zuweid, Rafah, and Al-Arish
