On Saturday morning, two explosions hit a shopping area in the centre of Baghdad, casualties reported. At least 14 people have also been injured in the blasts. Both explosions took place in the crowding neighbourhood of Sanak. After the first explosion, people started to rescue the injured ones. The second explosion targeted the same area that killed and wounded more people, security sources said. Following the blasts, ambulances rushed to the scene and transferred the wounded people to the nearby hospitals. It is unknown whether it was a suicide attack or improvised explosive devices remotely detonated. So far no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
