Cairo, alBawaba - Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria 'Pope Tawadros II' recieved on Thursday the Swedish Archbishop Antje during her five-day trip to Egypt. He marked the visit, which took place in the Patriarchate in Cairo, as "a sign of dialogue, cooperation & friendship between our churches". Archbishop Antje will also visit including the Daughters of Mary sopstaden Ezbet el-Nakhl and Alexandria. Archbishop Antje is invited by Pope Tawadros was returning the visit he made to Sweden in 2015. The Archbishop's hosts, the Coptic Pope's office, put the program of the trip and it primarily includes meetings with church leaders and visits to sites and organizations linked to the church. The aim of the visit accoring to the Swedish side is to confirm and develop the long relationship between the Swedish Church and the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria in Egypt.
