US President-elect Donald Trump may appoint his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, as a Middle East peace envoy, according to reports published lately. Jared Corey Kushner is an American businessman, investor and political operative. He is principal owner of the real estate holding and development company Kushner Properties and Observer Media, publisher of the weekly New York Observer. In an interview with the New York Times, Trump declared that he "would love to be the one who made peace with Israel and the Palestinians, that would be such a great achievement." Trump said both Israel and the Palestinians would have to "give up something" to reach a deal, while vowing to use the US veto "100 per cent" of the time at the United Nations Security Council.
