Egypt's Parliament, headed by Ali Abdel Aal will discuss on Sunday the Civil Service Law's article 16, which was met with an objection from parliament members. The Parliament will also discuss the report of media, culture and antiquities committee's over the draft law proposed by Parliamentarian Mustafa Bakri amending some provisions of Law No. 96 of 1996 on organizing press and media affairs. Moreover, the parliament will discuss at its general session on Sunday four requests submitted by MP Tamer Abdel Kader and 20 other members over the government's policy on mineral resources that are exported at low prices and then re-imported at higher prices, which is considered a waste of public money. Meanwhile, a number of parliamentarians expressed their anger due to the rise of the U.S. dollar value against Egyptian pound on the black market, which reached EGP 12.15 on Saturday, submitting urgent statements to parliament speaker over the rise of commodities prices.
