Donald Trump is the Republican Presidential aspirant for 2017. Politics has become exceedingly personal in Cleveland. Outside the Republican convention in Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, demonstrators on Tuesday were protesting Trump's hate speech against immigrants and women, as well as his environmental agenda. Trump wants a blanket ban on Muslim travel to the United States, to build a wall along the US border with Mexico, and to demolish the Paris climate agreement. Trump's Republican opponents failed to force a vote opposing his candidacy on Monday. On Tuesday, he claimed the mantle to a cheering crowd that was asking Trump to "lock her up," referring to Hillary Clinton. Targeting Hillary Clinton was the focus of Trump's supporters on Tuesday. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie asked the crowd to "... stop Hillary Clinton now and never let her within 10 miles of the White House again." The Republican Convention also featured the mother of a Benghazi victim blaming Hillary Clinton personally for her son's death. The former Secretary of State leads in most polls, by 7% according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll published on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Melania Trump was scorned by media as it appears that her speech endorsing her husband on Monday included extended word-by-word statements by Michelle Obama's speech in 2008.
