EgyptAir resumed its flights to Istanbul on Sunday, after suspending the planes movement following Turkey's failed military coup, al-Bawaba News reported. Flight 737 took off from Cairo earlier Sunday, landed in Istanbul normally, to be followed by another flight later today. Cairo International Airport received Saturday a flight of Turkish Airlines, coming from Istanbul. Some Turkish military leaders attempted to impose a military coup, and announced the martial law late Friday, but President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan managed to thwart it, by popular support.
