The Turkish Airlines resumed its flights to Cairo International Airport on Saturday, after suspending the planes movement following Turkey's failed military coup, al-Bawaba News reported. The flights were scheduled to arrive in Cairo at midnight, but it was delayed due to the coup, and shutting down Ataturk International Airport in Istanbul late Friday. Some Turkish military leaders attempted to impose a military coup, and announced the martial law late Friday, but President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan managed to thwart it, by popular support.
