Counterfeit coins found in Egyptian market, security sources

Security sources said on Tuesday they had monitored a counterfeit coin for the Egyptian pound in the domestic market, according to Yum 7 News.
Egyptian Mint Authority (EMA) chairperson Mohamed al-Sobki confirmed the reports, adding such coins could be entered into the country before the outbreak of the January 25 Revolution in 2011.
