Head of foreign committee of the parliament, Mohamed al-Orabi headed Saturday to Italy to deliver a message from parliament's speaker Ali Abdel Aal to the President of the Senate of the Italian Republic and President of Chamber of Deputies, al-Bawaba News reported. The message concerns the case of Italian student that was found killed in Cairo, Giulio Regini, that ignited dispute between Cairo and Rome, over accusations of Egyptian security of torturing the student to death. The visit comes in the framework of Egypt's parliament efforts to contain the imapct of the Italian parliament's recent decision to suspend the supply of some aircraft spare of F-16 parts to Egypt. Al-Orabi will attend the meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union for the Mediterranean Office, scheduled for July 11t at the Italian Senate, on behalf of Abdel Aal. The Egyptian former Foreign Minister will deliver a lecture titled "Strategy against Terrorism," in addition to holding a meeting with his Italian counterpart, to discuss the recent developments in the Italian-Egyptian relations in the light of Rome's recent decisions against Cairo.
