The Egyptian investigators will carry on investigating the death of the Italian PhD student, Giulio Regeni, until they identify the actual criminal, security source told al-Bawaba News Sunday. The delegation of Egyptian investigators returned to Cairo from Rome on Saturday after the end of investigations with the Italian side. On Friday, Italy's Foreign Minister, Paolo Gentilioni decided to recall the Italian ambassador to Egypt, Maurizio Massari for consultations over the murder of Regini in Egypt. Regeni was found dead at the Cairo-Alexandria highway in February, which provoked wide international condemnation from EU countries and others towards Egyptian investigations.
