Panamanian Embassy in Cairo holds Saturday the expansion of Panama Canal celebrations that will take place on June 26. Celebrations are attended by Panamanian Ambassador Tomas A. Gurdia, and the chairman of the Suez Canal Authority, Vice Admiral Mohab Mamish at the headquarter of the embassy in Cairo. The project is the largest in the field of improving the infrastructure of the canal since its establishment in 1914. The expansion works include new 2 locks, which provides third passage for ships at the entrance of the Pacific, deepening the canal and improving the water supplies.
