Sharm El Sheikh International Airport received Saturday 2585 tourists from different nationalities, onboard 28 international flights, Youm7 News reported. The airport also received 14 international flights carrying on board 1531 tourists from different nationalities. Also, the airport received 14 domestic flights carrying on board 1054 Egyptians. Meanwhile, 2615 tourist from different nationalities have left the airport, heading back home. Tourism officials expect an increase in the number of tourists visiting Egypt in the coming period, as European countries start to lift the flights ban to Sinai. European countries and the US have imposed a flights ban to Sinai, after a Russian civilian plane crashed in Sinai, killing all passengers and the flight crew members, in October.
