Head of Suez Canal authority, Mohab Mamish announced Saturday that the canal's revenues increased in March, to reach EGP 3.477 billion, compared to EGP 3.108 billion in February of the same year, Youm7 News reported. Meanwhile, 1454 ships weighing more than 80 million tons of shipments have crossed through the canal in March, which is an increase from 1437 ships weighing more than 82 million tons of shipments that crossed through the canal in the same period of last year.
