Egypt's Attorney General Nabil Sadeq ordered urgent investigations into the notification received by the foreign ministry's consular about the murder of 13 Egyptians in the Libyan city of Bani-Walid, Al-Bawaba News reported Saturday. The Attorney General's office said that 13 Egyptians were shot dead and one was badly injured, while seven others are in good health and being investigated by Libyan authorities. The statement added that the Egyptian immigrants traveled to Libya via illegal desert routes in Sudan accompanied by 11 Syrians and Somalis. Accordingly, Sadeq had assigned Egypt's international cooperation directory to prepare memoranda to be sent to the authorities in Libya to fulfill Egyptian prosecution questionnaire over the reports issued by forensic medicine about the cases.
