Cairo Criminal Court adjourned Saturday the trial of former Interior Minister Habib Al-Adli, alongside 12 former security leaders to August 9, over charges of seizing and misusing the public funds, Al-Bawaba News reported. The defendants face a charge of seizing funds illegally from the interior ministry estimated to EGP 2.388 billion. Al-Adli had been overthrown following the 2011 uprising that toppled former President Hosni Mubarak.
