Egypt's former interior minister on trial over corruption

Cairo Criminal Court will resume Sunday, the trial of former interior minister Habib al-Adly, alongside 12 former security leaders, over charges of seizing and misusing public funds of the ministry of interior, Youm7 News reported.
The defendants face a charge of illegally seizing funds from the interior ministry that amount to EGP2.388 billion.
