Egyptian city of Luxor welcomed Saturday evening the first direct flight from Japan to Luxor, carrying 230 Japanese passengers, Al Bawaba News reported. Luxor's Governor Mohamed Badr stressed their readiness to welcome the first charter flight between Japan's Osaka Airport and Luxor airport, after a five-year suspension. The Japanese tourists are expected to stay in one of the floating hotels during their three-day tour. They are scheduled to visit Luxor's touristic and archaeological sites.
