Egyptian parliamentarian Abdel Rehim Ali decided to withdraw from the elections to choose the head of Arab Affairs Committee in the House of Representatives, Al Bawaba News reported. Ali denied, in a statement to Al Bawaba, that his withdrawal came as a result of the lack of popularity, expressing his confidence that his popularity surpasses any other candidates. He stressed that the real popularity appears in the street apart from the suspicious deals. Ali blamed the behavior adopted by Egypt's Support parliamentary coalition for his decision of withdrawal.
