French President, Francois Hollande will visit Sunday Egypt at invitation of his Egyptian counterpart, Abdel Fattah Al Sisi to discuss strengthening strategic partnership between both countries in various fields, Al Bawaba News reported. The visit, the second of its kind in less than a year, comes at a time when bilateral relations are witnessing a boost at all levels, after two important visits by Al Sisi to Paris in November 2014 and November 2015. Also, Hollande visited Egypt on August 6 to attend the inauguration ceremony of the new Suez Canal. However, Hollande's visit to Egypt this time, targets the advancing of bilateral relations between the two countries, especially at the level of trade and economic fields, as he comes at the head of a delegation that represents 60 companies, including several small and medium-sized companies. The delegation aims to support the Egyptian economy, through establishing projects which contribute to the reduction of unemployment and increasing growth rates. The two presidents are expected to hold important political talks on regional issues of mutual interest. The visit is expected to witness the signing of a number of cooperation agreements between the two countries in various fields, such as sewage treatment, electricity and renewable energy fields.
