President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi honored Sunday his Mauritanian counterpart, Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz by giving him order of the Nile, in a meeting at presidential headquarters in Misr El Gedidah district, Cairo. The meeting dealt with ways to strengthen bilateral relations, along with a number of important issues, such as Mauritania's participation in a joint military force to protect the Sahel-Saharan region, Al Bawaba News reported. Also, the meeting tackled the Arab League summit to be held for the first time in Mauritania, and economic cooperation between Egypt and Mauritania, as well as signing a number of cooperation agreements between both countries in various fields.
