Egypt opens investigation over circumstances of hijacking EgyptAir jet

Prime Minister Sherif Ismail ordered civil aviation minister Sherif Fathy to open an immediate investigation over the hijacked EgyptAir jet in Cyprus, al-Bawaba News reported Tuesday.
A private Egyptian jet left to Cyprus to return home the released hostages from the hijacked EgytpAir jet.
The hostages exist at Larnaca airport in Cyprus, after the hijacker released them, keeping 5 people on board.
