FlyDubai 'Fully Trusts' Russia in Managing Flights - CEO

Emirati FlyDubai airline 'fully trusts' Russian authorities in managing local flights, FlyDubai CEO Ghaith al Ghaith said Sunday.
On Saturday, the FlyDubai Boeing 737-800 plane coming from Dubai crashed while attempting landing amid poor weather conditions at the Rostov-on-Don Airport (ROV). All people on board, including 55 passengers and seven crew members, died in the crash.
"We have high confidence in the Russian authorities in managing local flights and we fully trust the Russian authorities in managing this," al Ghaith said at the press conference dedicated to the Boeing crash, as quoted by the Gulf News newspaper.
He added that the company had a very "high praise to the Russians" since FlyDubai had started operations to Russia.
There were 44 Russians, eight Ukrainians, two Indians and one Uzbek national among the 55 passengers onboard the crashed plane. The seven crew members were from Russia, Cyprus, Spain, the Seashells, Colombia and Kyrgyzstan.
