Cairo will host ‘Egypt Competitiveness Forum' at the end of March with the participation of a number of Egyptian ministries and international economic officials, , Al-Bawaba News reported Saturday. Egyptian Trade and Industry Minister, Tarek Qabil said that the forum aims to review Egypt's ability to compete as one of the most attractive destinations for foreign investment in the region. "Egypt is keen to display recent legislative reforms and procedures to improve investment climate," Qabil explained, pointing out that it is scheduled to discuss cooperation between beneficiary parties, whether government or private sector with American investors. The event will be managed by the US-based Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU) under the auspices of US ambassador to Cairo, Stephen Beecroft.
