Egypt court sentences blogger to 3 years for saying women ready to cheat
An Egyptian court sentenced a blogger to three years in jail with hard labour on Saturday for "spreading false news" after he said about 45 per cent of married Egyptian women have the readiness for "immorality" and to cheat on their husbands.
The court said that Taymour el-Sobki's comments on a talk show in December would harm the public peace and damage the public interest.
He can still appeal the sentence.

Hamas delegation to meet Egyptian officials in Cairo
A senior Hamas official says a delegation from the Islamic militant group is heading to Cairo to discuss the group's strained relationship with the Egyptian government.
The official spoke anonymously as he is not authorized to brief the media on this issue.
